In the spring of 1997, a few students with a love for singing joined together to form a new a cappella group at RPI. Founded on the importance of passion and musical ability, and with the goal of one day recording their music and bringing their talent to new places on winter tour, the Rusty Pipes were an enthusiastic young group. With overalls on and plungers equipped, the Rusty Pipes set off to build a successful and enjoyable career in a cappella, which has now spanned almost 20 years. We, the current Pipes, are proud of our heritage and hope to maintain the joy and spirit of all members before us!
